In a shocking incident in the Sadar Kotwali area of Mahoba district, a woman is accused of hanging her one-year-old daughter, leading to the child's death. This information was confirmed by a police official.
The officer stated that the suspect has been taken into custody. Arun Kumar Singh, the police sub-inspector of the Sadar area, reported that authorities received a tip-off on Wednesday regarding the tragic event in the Subhash Nagar locality.
Upon arrival, the police secured the child's body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. The mother, identified as Khushboo, is currently being interrogated by the police.
According to statements from the accused's mother, Umarani, Khushboo had been married in the town of Charakhari but had been living at her parental home in Subhash Nagar for several months due to ongoing disputes with her husband. It has been suggested that she was suffering from depression.
